Privacy Policy

1. Information you give us

• Your email address and subscription/account information.
• Your business name, contact details, logo, colors, and proposal preferences.
• Bid assumptions, facility details, scopes, terms, notes, and proposal prices.
• Client names, business details, email addresses, and proposal responses.
• Messages you send us for support, refunds, or account requests.

Please do not enter payment-card numbers, account passwords, health records, or other highly sensitive information into proposal fields.

2. Information collected automatically

We receive basic request and device information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, requested pages, security events, and error logs. We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in. BroomBid currently does not use behavioral advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

3. Billing information

Stripe processes subscriptions, payment methods, invoices, and refunds. BroomBid receives identifiers and subscription status needed to provision and manage your account, but we do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe handles billing information under its own privacy policy.

4. How we use information

• Provide calculations, save proposals, and apply your brand settings.
• Email sign-in links and deliver proposals at your direction.
• Record proposal acceptance, decline, or requested changes.
• Process subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, and customer support.
• Prevent abuse, protect accounts, debug failures, and improve reliability.
• Comply with law and enforce fair product terms.

5. When information is shared

We share information only as needed with infrastructure and service providers that run BroomBid, currently including Deno for hosting and data storage, Stripe for billing, Mailgun for transactional email, and Google for web-font delivery. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transaction where the recipient must continue protecting it.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use client proposal data to market to your clients.

6. Client data and secure proposal links

You decide which client information to place in BroomBid and when to send it. You are responsible for having an appropriate business reason or permission to use that data. A proposal link is an access credential: anyone who receives it may be able to view the proposal until it expires or you delete the proposal. Links normally expire after 30 days. Deleting a proposal removes it from the active workspace and revokes its links.

7. Retention and deletion

Active account and proposal data is retained while needed to provide BroomBid. You can delete individual proposals in the Studio. We retain billing records, security events, proposal-response evidence, and limited backups for legitimate business, fraud, dispute, tax, and legal needs. When those needs end, we delete or de-identify the data.

To request account access, correction, export, or deletion, email hello@broombid.com. We will verify that the requester controls the account before acting. Some records may be retained when the law or a live dispute requires it.

8. Security

We use password-free authentication, signed sessions, access controls, private account storage, opaque proposal-link tokens, link expiration, rate limits, and encrypted HTTPS connections. No system is risk-free. If we learn of a breach that creates a meaningful risk to you, we will notify you as required and work to contain it.

9. Your choices

You can edit brand and proposal data, delete proposals, cancel billing, or request help with account deletion. Transactional messages such as sign-in, proposal, billing, and security emails are necessary to provide actions you request. We will not quietly add you or your clients to promotional lists.

10. Children and international use

BroomBid is a business product and is not directed to children under 13. If you use it outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

11. Changes and contact
